Architectural applications to achieve new levels of energy efficiency, high performance materials for extreme situations, new 3D printers and medical applications of bioplastics have been just some of the lines of research exposed in the previous edition.

AIMPLAS brought together the major players on the international scene in the field of materials innovation. The first edition of the seminar "Plastics in the Future" was attended by about 200 professionals related to the plastics industry who put on paper some of the most recent innovations in plastic materials and their application to sectors as diverse as the doctor, electronic, construction or packaging.
